Norma Tackett Isaac, age 73, of Hager Hill, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 18th, 2015 at Kingâs Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky.
Norma was born January 10th, 1942 in Floyd County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Lawrence and Minnie Johnson Tackett. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Tackett and one sister, Annalene Ballew.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Conard Isaac whom she married on February 21st, 1959. To this union was born two daughters, Karen Thompson and husband Michael of North Carolina and Tammy Russell and husband Roger of Paintsville, Kentucky.
Also surviving are one brother Donald Tackett of Waynesville, Ohio; two sisters, Lavonna Stanley and husband James of Cleveland, Ohio and Brenda Slone and husband Mont of Ohio; brother-in-law, Charlie Ballew of Barnesville, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Kristi Cole, Misty (Dean) McLamb, Dustin Hall, and Jesikah Russell; and seven great grandchildren, Allison, Dylan, Seth, Ethan, Caleb, Marissa, and Brooklyn.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 21st, 2015 in the Auxier Free Will Baptist Church with Bobby Joe Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park, at Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may call at Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday, April 19th, 2015, 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday, April 20th, 2015. Visitation on Tuesday, April 21st, 2015 will be at Auxier Free Will Baptist Church from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
