| James Paul Connors age 90 of Prestonsburg, passed away from this life on Monday March 23, 2015 at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg. Born on May 1, 1924 in Betsy Layne, Kentucky a son to the late Charles and Delphia West Connors. James Paul is preceded in death by his wife Mary Oma Ratliff Connors. James was a coal miner and member of Auxier Freewill Baptist Church, and member of the DAV Chapter 18 og Auxier and a member of the VFW as well as the Auxier Volunteer Fire Department and a Kentucky Colonel He is survived by One Son: James Charles Connors and his wife Norma of Auxier; Daughter: Londa Connors of Auxier; Grandchildren: Jessica Connors and Scott Connors and his wife Kim: and one sister: Doris Wells on Lexington Along with his parents and wife he is preceded in death by six brothers: : Prentice Connors, Bernice Connors, Junior Connors, Harold Connors and Earl Connors Time and Place of Services: Thursday March 26, 2015 at 12noon at Auxier Freewill Baptist Church, Auxier Visitation: after 6pm Tuesday at the church and all day Wednesday Officiating: Bobby Joe Spencer Burial: Auxier Relocation Cemetery, Auxier |
